The Makita DGA463Z (Body Only) is a 115mm (4.5"), slide switch, variable speed, brushless angle grinder. The DGA463Z is part of the ever expanding 18v Makita LXT Lithium-ion range.
Description
The Makita DGA463Z 18v 115mm angle grinder features a variable speed control dial making it suitable for stone masons, metal working engineers and welders. The machine is built around the brushless motor that sits at the core of the body. The brushless motor allows 30% more efficiency than it's brushed counterpart the DGA452Z, this means less time charge time and more work time. The ergonomic soft grip and rubberised side handle means control is second to none. One of the safety features that makes the DGA463Z the professional quality tool it is, is the anti restart which prevents operation if the switch is left in the 'on' position while a battery is inserted and an electric brake which stops rotation when switched off. This will help prevent accidents.
