The Makita KP0800 planer is a good quality tool suitable for professional tradesmen. It is lightweight (2.6kg) and well balanced with a rubber grip on the top handle and is powered by a 620w motor available in both 110v and 240v.
Description
The Makita KP0800 has an easy to read scale with click stops measuring 0.1mm to offer a precise depth knob adjustment. The machine is capable on an 82mm planing width and 2.5mm depth. Makita have improved the fan design so its generates more dust flow, this results in greater chip ejection. The KP0800 can be used with the Makita dust bag or vacuum cleaner (Not supplied with purchase of KP0800) The KP0800 features an ergonomic rubberised handle to provide the best grip. Having a good grip and comfortable hold of the tool means that you will be able to provide more accurate work for a prolonged time. Not only is the rubber designed handle good for precise work but the design absorbs most of the vibrations and impact meaning the hand will not fatigue as easily.
