The Makita DJR187RTE 18V Brushless Reciprocating Saw is a cordless reciprocating saw powered by 18V Li-ion battery and has been developed for higher cutting efficiency. It is also designed to be more compact and lightweight by adopting vertical crank mechanism and brushless DC motor.

Makita DJR187RTE features the brushless motor. Brushless tools are engineered for longer run time, increased power and speed, and longer tool life. The efficient Makita Brushless Motor is electronically-controlled to optimize battery energy use for up to 50% longer run time per charge. The brushless Motor runs cooler and more efficiently for longer life. The reciprocating saw is also equipped with the tool-less blade change, no more searching for the hex key, a push of the button will ensure a quick and efficient change, ideal for the tradesmen. Variable speed change by the trigger gives the speed and accuracy a chance to adapt to the job the user is working on. Held by the ergonomic soft rubberised grip the DJR187RTE is the perfect cutting tool for any user.
