The DLX2145TJ is an impact driver and combi drill set that's part of the popular 18V LXT Li-ion range from Makita. It includes the DHP458 hammer drill, DTD152 impact driver, 2x 5.0Ah Li-ion batteries, DC18RC fast changer and a type 3 MakPac case.
Description
The Makita DHP458 is a heavy duty cordless combination hammer drill with high amounts of torque and power. It has a metal, single sleeved keyless chuck to make changing of the utensil quick and effortless. The DHP458 also has enhanced dust and drip protection meaning it is ideal for outdoor and harsh environments. Another valuable asset it the battery fuel gauge located just above the battery slide and below the trigger, this allows the user to check battery charge levels at the push of a button. The Makita DTD152 18V impact driver is a huge asset to the Makita LXT range. It is mainly used to secure and loosen light/medium duty screws, this is often achieved without drilling a pilot hole prior. The variable speed trigger and electric brake allows for maximum efficiency ensuring the correct speed is obtained, and that the rotation is put to a halt as soon as the trigger has been released. The DTD152 has a compact and lightweight design so small spaces are no issue and the soft grip gives user comfort even after a full days use. An LED job light is featured so in darker areas like kitchen cupboards are made visible.
