The Makita DTW285 is an 18v cordless impact wrench featuring reverse rotation and auto stop mode. Running off of the 18v Lithium-ion battery the DTW285 is perfectly suited for a scaffolder's needs when used in 'Med' mode.
Description
The DTW285 impact wrench features high operation efficiency with high 400Nm max nut busting torque, half inch square drive, ideal for steel and metal fabrication and mechanical works in areas where area and space is limited. The wrench accepts an M10-M20 standard bolt, M10-M16 high tensile bolt. Featuring a no load speed of 2800rpm provides 3500ipm, the percussive action saving time and effort. It features a conveniently located push button for the forward and reverse feature. The wrench is equipped with an LED light which suits jobs that are low visibility. The overall length of 147mm and weight of 1.7kg means that the compact wrench is easily portable and won't require much room in the tool bag. This wrench also has a electronic 3 stage impact power selection to reduce fault tightening as well as a battery power gauge. The ergonomic rubberised handle makes comfort for the user second to none, as well as grip. The handle is made so the user can use for prolonged time without fatigue.

- Reverse rotation auto stop mode: This mode works only with pulling the trigger fully in counter-clockwise rotation. When the bolt/nut gets loosened enough, the tool stops the impact and rotation in 0.2 seconds.
